BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and techniques used by professionals in hospitals and labs. Through activities like suturing and constructing body structures, they develop expertise in biomedical science while also building valuable skills in problem solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. The admissions process for the PLTW programs is designed for students who score in the top 50% of their class in STEM subjects. It’s important to note that the process is highly selective and competitive each year, so not all students who score in the top 50% will be offered admission. However, students who don't meet the initial criteria but demonstrate strong interest in the courses may still be granted admission.
