ENGINEERING
The courses heavily influenced me majoring in computer science. PLTW combined both my love for science and math and taught me how to use them both simultaneously in real world scenarios.

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering students develop a problem-solving mindset through real-world challenges that enhance their collaboration, critical thinking, and communication skills. Engaging in interdisciplinary activities such as designing homes, programming electronics, and exploring biofuels, students gain both engineering knowledge and essential skills that prepare them for any future career.
The admissions process for the PLTW programs is designed for students who score in the top 50% of their class in STEM subjects. It’s important to note that the process is highly selective and competitive each year, so not all students who score in the top 50% will be offered admission. However, students who don't meet the initial criteria but demonstrate strong interest in the courses may still be granted admission.
