St. Petersburg Catholic High School is currently an International Baccalaureate (IB) Candidate school, meaning we are in the process of receiving accreditation to implement an IB Diploma Program.
The IB Diploma Program will be offered to high-achieving students looking to hone their critical thinking, research, and presentation skills, preparing them for competitive college placement. Most importantly though, the IB prepares students to be globally-focused community leaders, which meshes well with our St. Petersburg Catholic mission to form “future leaders dedicated to compassionate service.”
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
