Born in Indiana, Mrs. Delaney always knew she wanted to be a teacher like her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Hood. Mrs. Delaney received her Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University. She has many accomplishments in her career including getting nominated for the Disney American Teacher award and winning the Pinellas County Teachers Association Outstanding Educator Award. Mrs. Delaney’s favorite career memory is when a student that she taught in first grade recently contacted her and said that she was his favorite teacher and thanked her for everything. In her free time, Mrs. Delaney loves spending time with her husband, Matthew, and daughter, Chloe, who is a student at SPCHS. She enjoys collecting unique Santa Clauses, playing with her dog, Milo, and cheering on her favorite Tampa Bay sports teams.
