Baron Buddies is a service-based club dedicated to building meaningful friendships with students from Morning Star School, a school that serves students with learning disabilities. Members visit Morning Star throughout the year to spend time together, participate in fun activities, and create lasting connections rooted in kindness, respect, and inclusion.

Club members meet multiple times each month to plan engaging visits, including arts and crafts, games, and special activities.  Baron Buddies also joins Morning Star students for Mass several times a year, strengthening both community bonds and shared values.

Through these experiences, Baron Buddies promotes empathy, service, and genuine connection, offering students the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while forming friendships that extend beyond the classroom.

SPC’s Chess and Games Club is a fun-first club open to all students. We meet weekly to share our love of games and play a variety together, including chess, tabletop games, and video games. Favorites like chess, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros., D&D, and more are enjoyed regularly.

In DECA students with a passion or interest in the business field whether that be in managing a company, being a stock trader, or other aspirations come together and fine tune their skills for college and beyond. In addition to learning about the business world students collaborate with one another on activities, games, and potentially competitions with other schools as well.

Our Student Environmental Club is dedicated to caring for our campus and community through hands-on action and environmental stewardship. We organize regular campus cleanups and proudly serve as a high school chapter of Keep Pinellas Beautiful, working together to protect and preserve the beauty of our local environment.

Modeled after the Universities' Great Books, this club explores literature that has shaped society and culture, including works of philosophy, theology, novels, and poetry. Students meet with a faculty moderator to discuss readings and write a brief reflection each semester. Consistent participation for at least two years earns students an honor cord at graduation.

Imago Dei, meaning "Image of God", is our pro-life club dedicated to promoting the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death. Members take part in activities such as making cards for the elderly, writing encouraging messages on the sidewalk during pro-life month, and attending the National March for Life in Washington, D.C.

Kids Who Care is a club dedicated to helping children with terminal illnesses achieve their dreams. We raise money and partner with organizations like Children’s Dream Fund and the Marty Lyons Foundation to give kids unforgettable experiences—whether that’s meeting heroes, special trips, or receiving meaningful gifts. Our goal is to bring joy, hope, and meaningful moments to kids when they need it most.

The Medical Club brings together students interested in healthcare careers. Through guest speakers, field trips, and mentorship opportunities with faculty and medical professionals, members gain real-world insight and guidance as they explore future paths in medicine and related fields. The club also serves the community through outreach to local nursing homes, creating and delivering seasonal cards and decorations to brighten residents’ days.

The Model United Nations Club gives students the chance to simulate UN proceedings, represent member states, and debate global issues. Participation builds research, writing, public speaking, and negotiation skills while deepening understanding of international relations and diplomacy. Students attend conferences throughout the year, including meets at the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, and the University of Central Florida.

Praise Band consists of the members of the Honors Music Ensemble. It’s Praise Band’s job to lead the school and student body in worship at mass, and further, to play and perform for assemblies, pep rallies, as a pit orchestra for musical theatre productions, and any other school function requiring music.

SPC’s Robotics Club is a casual club open to students of all experience levels. We meet weekly to explore robotics through hands-on activities, learning about sensors, programming techniques, and robot design while completing fun challenges with student-built robots.

St. Martin de Porres is a Roman Catholic saint known not only for his devotion to the poor, but also for his compassion for all people, regardless of race.  St. Martin was born in Lima, Peru, in 1579, the mixed-race son of a Spanish official and a black woman.  His own experience with poverty and discrimination motivated him to treat all people with kindness.  Inspired by the example of St. Martin, St. Petersburg Catholic High School created a student group in 2022 to strengthen the bonds of unity among the diverse members of the Baron community.  Activities over the last four years include: visiting local museums and seeing films to learn about Americans who broke through racial barriers to create opportunities for all; raising funds for St. Petersburg’s Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum; and supporting fundraising to build a school for a poor community in Zimbabwe.  Last year, during Black History Month, St. Martin de Porres students took a field trip to Ybor city and enjoyed lunch at a black-owned restaurant in Ybor City--and learned from the black entrepreneur who created that restaurant important lessons about how to overcome adversity and succeed in business.

The Student Ambassador Program offers dedicated junior and senior students the opportunity to represent St. Petersburg Catholic High School both on and off campus. Ambassadors are selected through an application and interview process and are chosen for their leadership, academic commitment, strong character, and enthusiasm for promoting SPCHS.

Our ambassadors play an essential role in welcoming new and prospective Barons by assisting with Orientation, Baron Bash, school visits, campus tours, and other community events. Through this service, they develop valuable communication and leadership skills while sharing what makes our school a place of faith, community, and excellence.

Student Government Association, SGA, consists of elected and appointed students who advocate for the student body and offer varied strategies to build community and school spirit. The Executive Board consists of elected positions: Student Body President, Student Body Vice President, Bursar, Press Secretary, Chief of Staff, and Corresponding Secretary. Appointed positions consist of Parliamentarian and Chaplin. Each class council consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, and 5 Senators. 

  SGA is responsible for meeting with administrators and providing a student voice in certain school decisions.  We are also responsible for community and spirit building by planning yearly events like Pep Rallies, Homecoming, Christmas Week, Prom, and Anniversary Week.  SGA members are considered role models in their roles as liaisons between the administration and the student body. Students work closely with the adviser and administration, but all events and activities are the direct result of student ideas, planning, and implementation.

Troupe 4127 is the SPC chapter of the International Thespian Society, a national honor organization that celebrates excellence in theatre. Our troupe competes at district and state festivals, presents a fall play and spring musical, and hosts showcases throughout the year. We welcome all students with a passion for the arts—whether on stage or behind the scenes—to grow, create, and share in the joy of theatre.

Our weightlifting club, founded by 2026 Senior Matthew McCabe, is built on the belief that strength training should be welcoming, accessible, and empowering for everyone. The club was created to introduce students of all backgrounds to weightlifting and overall fitness, regardless of their prior experience or skill level. Whether someone is stepping into the gym for the very first time or looking to build on an existing routine, this is a positive community that encourages growth and confidence. The focus is not only on building strength, but also on developing healthy habits, proper technique, and a lifelong appreciation for fitness in an inclusive and encouraging environment.
