• Must have an overall 3.0 GPA or higher
• Must have a 3.5 GPA in all Theology classes
• Fulfill all school service requirements (25 hours per year)

• An active Troupe member for one year (must have either done theatre competition for districts or states and/or at least one production last year (2025-26))

• Must have credit for 4 semesters of high school mathematics taken in high school
• Currently taking an honors or advanced placement math course
• Enrolled in Algebra II Honors or higher
• Have a 3.75 weighted GPA for all high school math classes
• Have a minimum 3.0 overall unweighted GPA
• As a junior must complete 12 hours of service while in MAO to remain in MAO
• As a senior must complete 15 hours of service before May 1 to earn the MAO Honor Cord

• Sophomores – must have completed any art intro class (Photo 1, Ceramics 1, or 2-D Art 1) with a minimum 4.0 GPA for the course.

• Juniors – must have either taken or be currently enrolled an honors or AP art class and have a minimum of 2 credits in art.

• Seniors – must have taken or be enrolled in a second honors or AP art class and have a minimum of 3 credits in art.

• Have an extracurricular interest in Visual Arts
• Ability to tour Art Museums outside of school
• Dues: $5

• Weighted cumulative 3.75 GPA or higher
• Demonstrate the highest standards of academics, leadership, service and character
• Participate in society activities (i.e. Brain Bowl & fundraisers)
• Participate in after-school tutoring in all subject areas

REQUIREMENTS

• The student must be of sophomore, junior, or senior classification. (Freshmen may apply, but will be classified as partial/ non-members until their sophomore year.)

• The student must have the equivalent of a B (3.5) grade average, or be in the upper third of their class in general scholastic standing, either for the year of their election or for the cumulative total of all high school work.

• The student must have superior work in some phase of journalism or school media work. This includes, but is not limited to Composition, Photography, Yearbook, Radio/Television Station, News/Magazine, etc…

• The student may be staffers/students in Composition, English, magazine, newspaper, yearbook, news organization, online site, or radio/television station at the school, or one conducted by an external organization.

• The student must be recommended by a teacher, a supervisor of journalistic work, or by the committee governing the media.

• The student must be approved by the Quill and Scroll committee.

Dues: $30

• Must have completed two core courses in the field of Social Studies (one of which must have been at the Honors or AP level).

• Must be currently enrolled in an Honors or AP level Social Studies course.

• Have a 3.5 GPA overall

• Have a 3.7 GPA in all Social Studies course

REQUIREMENTS

• Any secondary student who has maintained an honor average of 3.0 GPA or higher in the study of Spanish for a minimum of 3 semesters
• Any student who is currently in the 10th grade or higher
• Meet criteria for character, leadership, honor, seriousness of purpose and service
• Participate in society meetings
• Dues: $15

*Students are eligible to serve as an officer with continued study in Spanish and payment of annual dues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Maintenance of a cumulative average of 90% or above in French Language classes;
• Maintenance of 87.5% or above cumulative semester average in all classes;
• Participation in the French Honor Society meetings and activities;
• Maintenance of a behavioral record free from suspensions, academic dishonesty, and/or a pattern of inappropriate behavior;
• Meeting all deadlines and payment of any required dues (currently $15.00/ year);
• Fulfillment of the yearly service requirements of 10 points earned;
• Must be currently in or have completed at least the 4th semester of French
• Attendance at monthly Society meetings.
