Erin Russano – President


Hi, my name is Erin Russano.  I will be your President of the PA Board for the school year 2018-2019. My Husband and I own Treasure Island Realty and we have two children: Sally Russano is a freshman and Sonny Russano is a junior.  We are originally from New York.  Which is no secret, if you have ever met me and heard me talk.  I love to volunteer at SPCHS.  It is a great opportunity to be part of the community as well as meet new friends. If you see me around campus, please stop me and say hello.  I’d love to meet you.

My Name is Edith Lanning and I serve as Secretary of the SPC Parent Association.  My husband Michael and I are the proud parents of Victoria (Alumna Class of 2018- and Freshman at the University of Florida – Go Gators!), and Michael (Junior), both graduates of St. Jude’s Cathedral School.  Both our children have always been involved in the Student Government, Youth Ministry, Praise Band and sports (volleyball, and baseball respectively).  We are so blessed to have joined St. Pete Catholic and this wonderful family of caring and supportive staff, parents and students.  Feel free to reach out to us for any questions or anything needed.

Kelly Wiand - Treasurer


My name is Kelly Wiand and I serve as Treasurer of the SPC Parent Association.  My husband, Chris, and I are proud graduates of SPC.  Our oldest son, Zachary (SPC class of 2017), is a sophomore at FSU. Our daughter Hannah is a SPC grad of 2018 and will be attending St. Leo University this Fall. Mac, our youngest, will begin his SPC journey this Fall as a freshman. St. Pete Catholic is an amazing community filled with terrific administrators, faculty, staff, students and families.

Senior Class Representatives
Liz Burkart


My name is Liz Burkart and I am serving as a Senior Class Representative this year. My husband, Kevin and I have two children. Our daughter, Sam is an SPC alumna (2016) and is currently a junior at the University of Miami majoring in Accounting and Entrepreneurship.  Our son, Conor is a senior this year. I am a recently retired Registered Nurse having worked for 23 years at St. Anthony’s Hospital. I have served on and chaired numerous committees throughout my kids’ grade school years at both St. Jude’s and St. Paul’s schools. I also served as Director of Development at St. Jude’s school for 2 years. 

I am excited to serve on the PA Board this year and contribute to the wonderful things that are taking place at SPC. I encourage you to get involved in this wonderful community we are so fortunate to be a part of!

Debbie McCann


My name is Debbie McCann and I am one of the Senior Representatives for the St. Pete Catholic Parent Association. Our family has been a part of SPC for the past 13 years.  Our oldest, Haele, graduated in 2010, Stephanie in 2015 and Katherine is a Senior. My husband Steve and I have been very involved with St. Pete Catholic since Haele’s freshman year.  Over the years we have volunteered in various areas, such as the parent association, announcer at football games, swim team, track, volleyball, cheerleading, student government and youth ministry.  Whatever our girls were involved in, we were too!  Our advice to any incoming families is to get involved.  You will quickly find yourselves feeling a sense of home as you get to know the school and families that make SPC the place to be. 

Linda Wilson


Linda J. Wilson is the Broker/Owner of Wilson & Associates Real Estate and Property Management in North Redington Beach, FL   She has over 22 years’ experience as a Real Estate Broker specializing in residential, commercial and property management.

Linda graduated from Nova University with a BS in Business Management Degree.   She has lived in the Tampa Bay area for almost 30 years and in Redington Beach for the past 20 years. The Wilson family consists of Linda, Chuck (deceased), Shannon (20) and Chase (17).  Shannon is an SPC graduate and is currently a junior at Florida State University.  Chase is currently a senior at SPC and hopes to attend FSU as well.  Linda and her family strongly believe in the value of Catholic education and the foundation it provides for our children.  

Linda has always been actively involved in her community and has held the following positions:

Junior Class Representatives
Kristi Herman


My name is Kristi Herman and I serve as a Junior class representative.  My oldest daughter, Courtney, graduated in 2014, my oldest son, Christopher, graduated in 2016.  They both attend the University of Florida (Go, Gators!) My youngest son, Michael, is entering 11th grade this Fall.  I am currently homeschooling my youngest daughter, Teagan.  My family has been involved with St. Petersburg Catholic High School for almost 7 years.  The school has been and is a wonderful place that academically challenges students, helps them develop and creates a community based on faith for them to continue to grow.  My family’s interests have been tennis, swimming, student government and academic achievement.

Monica Mena


My name is Monica Mena and I serve as a Junior Class Representative on the SPC Parent Association.   I am a graduate of SPC and my oldest son Sebastian is a Junior (Class of 2020) and my youngest son Christian is a 7th Grader at St. Jude School.  I am forever thankful for the Catholic education I received at St. Pete Catholic and so grateful to give the same opportunity to my son.  The sense of community we have built here at SPC throughout the years between the parents, families, staff and faculty is what makes SPC such a special place.  Once a Baron always a Baron!

Brooke Ryczek


My name is Brooke Ryczek and I am a Junior Class Representative this year on the board. My husband Dennis and I have three kids.  Catholic education has always been a top priority for us, and while our two older children decided on different paths for high school, our youngest son Andrew is a junior at SPC this year. SPC has been the perfect fit for him academically, spiritually and socially.  My husband and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have or offer support and assistance with anything you might need.  We are happy to serve in this wonderful community.  

Sophomore Class Representatives
Sandi Banfalvy


My name is Sandi Banfalvy, I am a SPCHS Alumna and my daughter Ariel is in 10th grade.  We are both active in school and community.  Ariel is very active at SPC being part of the  Baronettes, Best Buddies, Student Council, Drama/Vocal and she is a Student Ambassador.  Outside of school Ariel is the reigning Miss Teen Florida, a competitive dancer, assistant for a dance convention and active in volunteering in the community.

While Ariel is working hard so am I.  During our years in South Florida, I was a member of the FSA (Family School Association), holding the positions of Room Parent Coordinator and Secretary. During Ariel's Freshman year at SPC I was a member of the Parent Association and Gala Committee and volunteered at events throughout the year.  Being involved and present in Ariel's life is extremely important to me.  I am great with planning fundraising events, scheduling events and am a huge supporter of team work!  My strongest attribute is organization.  I look forward to working with the new SPC PA family!

Yamira Cardona


Hello. My name is Yamira Cardona and I serve as a sophomore class representative on the SPC Parent Association. My husband Francisco and I have three children, Diego, who graduated in 2016 and is currently attending Johns Hopkins University, Andre, who is a sophomore at SPC, and Ariadna, who is entering 9th grade in the fall at SPC. We are very blessed to be a part if this wonderful community.  Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance or with any questions.

Kitty Labrador


My name is Kitty Labrador. We have a sophomore, Charles A. Labrador, who is also representing his class as President of Student Government. I also have a daughter in 7th Grade at the Cathedral School of St. Jude (Go Hawks!). I am very excited to be part for the second year of the Parent Association Board to offer support to our students, staff and faculty. My husband and I are very blessed to have our son at SPC! Go Barons!

Kathy McCabe


Hello, my name is Kathy McCabe, I am one of your Sophomore Representatives of the PA Board for the school year 2018-2019.  My husband Mike and myself have an Electrical Company, Innovative Electrical Solutions, LLC.  We are very active in the Community along with St. Petersburg Catholic High School.  I am a graduate of St. Petersburg Catholic H.S., as well as my brothers who graduated from Bishop Barry. We have 3 children.  Micaela who graduated SPC 2015 and is now attending Temple University. Bethany who graduated in 2017 and is attending St. Petersburg College and is employed by our Company and Keegan who will be entering his Sophomore year here at SPC and is an aspiring Artist. All 3 of my children are graduates of the Cathedral School of St. Jude.

I am a true believer in a Catholic School Education and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Sharon Rhoads


My name is Sharon Rhoads and my family has been a part of SPCHS since 2008.    Our youngest children, Destiny and Faith, are twins and will be sophomores this year. We have two SPCHS alumnae children, Ashley (2012) who is currently in her second year at Stetson College of Law and Parker (2015) who will be a senior at Florida State University (GO 'NOLES!!).  My husband, Ron Rhoads, is a faculty member at SPCHS and is the head baseball coach.  My passion is education, both personally as a parent and professionally, as VP of a private college group.   Last year I served on the Parent Board and I am looking forward to serving this year as well.  SPCHS has always been a second home to my children and our family and we look forward to helping it continue to grow and prosper.  GO BARONS!!

Lisette Shields


Hi, my name is Lisette Shields. I will be your Sophomore representative of the PA Board for the school year 2018-2019.  My husband Frank and I have three children. Kalista is a freshman in college, Jonathan is a sophomore at St Pete Catholic and Jameson is a fourth grader at St. Raphael. I am a graduate of St. Pete Catholic and I am excited that my son Jonathan is a Baron as well!  I enjoyed volunteering at SPCHS last year.  It was a great way to meet other parents and to be part of this wonderful community at SPCHS.  Looking forward to an awesome year.

Freshman Class Representatives
Frank Castillo


Hi. My name is Frank Castillo. I am a first generation Cuban-American. Both my parents are from Cuba and I was born in West Tampa.

I attended A.P. LETO H.S. in Tampa and graduated from SPJC (now SPC) with an A.S. in Radiography. I have been employed at Tampa General Hospital since 1983. I retired from full-time in 2014 and returned in 2015 as a C.T. Tech in the E.R. I also own Sunset Palms Designs, a woodworking company specializing in handmade outdoor furniture and accessories. Upon request I also make indoor furniture and wood wall art. My wife Theresa is an R.N. at Baycare and is a nursing instructor with Baycare and SPC.

Our daughter is Alexandria Olivia Rene’ Castillo (yes, it’s a mouthful). We added Rene’ after my mom’s uncle passed away the night before she was born. This is her first year at SPCHS and she is so excited. She is coming from St. Jude and knows Mr. Bubolz and Father Anthony very well.

She is also an accomplished dancer at West Florida Dance Center in Largo. She plans on pursuing dance and theater post high school and study interior decorating as her fallback. Like her dad, she in an FSU fan and hopes to attend after high school.

In conclusion, I have two step children with Theresa. Her son Tyler is an aspiring actor attending University of North Georgia and started his own business with the help of his dad and trade in Tree and landscaping. Theresa’s daughter, Shyler, is attending USF and plans on pursuing Veterinary Medical School in Colorado.

Debbie Deady


My name is Debbie Deady, and I'll be serving as one of your Freshman representatives, as well as the Helping Hands Chair this year. I have two children: Richard is a freshman at SPCHS (Go Barons!), and Cory is in the 5th Grade at The Cathedral School of St. Jude (Go Hawks!). Professionally, I have been with Wal-Mart for 11 years, working in the Vision Center.


My interests include: Continuing my education (I'm currently working on my Florida Board of Opticianry), hockey (Go Lightning!), and spending time with my amazing fiance and family. I look forward to seeing you around school!

Kelly DeMeza


Adrienne Federico


Hi everyone!  My name is Adrienne Federico, and I am one of the Freshman Representatives.  My daughter, Abbey is in her first year at SPCHS, and we are so excited to start this journey!  My husband and I also have two other children, our daughter, Payton, who is in 8th grade , and our son, Markus, who is in 7th grade at the Cathedral School of St. Jude.  I’m the oldest of 10 children who all attended Catholic school through high school, so I feel very blessed to pass that tradition on to my own children.  I’m looking forward to a great year!

Patrice Hammill


My name is Patrice Hammill.  I have an incoming Freshman, Jacob Hammill and a 9 year old at St. Jude’s, Noah Hammill.  I have been married to Tod for 21 years.  I am the youngest of 9 children, born and raised in St. Pete and all of us are alums of St. Pete Catholic, Bishop Barry and Notre Dame.  My husband is from Michigan and is one of 3 children.  He is a Pharmacist for Bay Pines VA and I am a Real Estate Agent for Keller Williams Realty.  I also serve as President of the Board of ALPHA House in Pinellas County which is a home for women and girls in crisis pregnancy situations.  My parents founded this organization in 1979.  I am extremely excited to be a part of the SPCHS family and look forward to working with you all.  See you around campus!

Robyn Montanez


Hi, my name is Robyn Montanez and this is my first year here at St. Pete Catholic. My husband Tony and I have 2 girls. Sierra is a freshman and Lily, who is entering the 6th grade at St. John Vianney Catholic School. I have been an active member at St. John’s for many years, serving 2 terms as President of the Parent Board as well as on many fundraising committees. I also work full time for a global manufacturing company and part time as the Wedding Coordinator at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.  I am excited to be an active member of the SPCHS family.
