Courtney Tanis
Mrs. Tanis has a diverse background that speaks to her passion for education and community service. She currently serves as the Director of Enrollment at St. Petersburg Catholic High School. Her academic journey began with a degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida that led to a career with the United Way of Tampa Bay, where she excelled in cultivating relationships and driving growth in the small business and new account development divisions. However, she felt a calling to the vocation of teaching. She started her educational career at Christ the King Catholic School, simultaneously pursuing a master’s degree in Elementary Education. Over the course of her career in education she has been fortunate to work in Catholic schools that span both sides of the bay. In addition to her professional achievements, Mrs. Tanis is committed to giving back to the community. She is an active member of the School Advisory Board for Sacred Heart Catholic School, a Salesian Cooperator, and former Christ the King Catholic School Auction Chair and ministry leader for Christ the King Catholic Church’s Saint Monica’s Mothers Group. Notably, she has been a volunteer and trip coordinator for five of Renew Haiti’s medical and teen mission trips to Sainte Suzanne, Haiti.
