Theology Department

Prayer, Hands, Church, Light

The Theology Department, along with Campus Ministry, seeks to empower Saint Petersburg Catholic High School students to pursue a relationship with Christ, which leads to living the Gospel in word, sacrament and deed. We strive to help students develop a rich sense of spirituality, catholic community, and gift them with an academic understanding of Church teaching. In doing so, we aim to realize in the lives of our students the truth that creation is a sacrament of God’s love for all humankind. As such, Baron alum will be equipped spiritually and theologically to stand for justice, peace, and love in the broader cultural milieu; to be builders of God’s heavenly kingdom.
