The Admissions Cycle/Timeline

Enrollment Timeline

Choosing your child’s secondary education is an important decision. Throughout the school year, we host a variety of events on our campus to give you the information you need to make that decision. By attending these events, your family can get a better understanding of our faculty, staff, academics, athletics, and what it’s like to be a Baron.

In order to better assist families during their transition from middle school to high school, we have included a timeline of events that SPCHS follows when considering applicants for the incoming Freshman class. However, applications can be filled out and submitted at any point before the December deadline. We encourage you to apply early to secure your seat.

Applications for the

2021-2022 Freshman class are available here!

October 8th, 2020 - Visit St. Petersburg Catholic’s Open House!

Nov. 7th, 2020 - HSPT at SPCHS. The High School Placement Test is needed in order to begin the admissions decision-making process and is used for placement purposes.

Nov. 9th, 2020 - During this week, SPCHS will be requesting records from current middle schools.

December 4th, 2020 - This is the last day SPCHS will be accepting records from schools in order for applicants to be included in the first round of decisions for the 2021-2022 school year. In order to secure your spot and avoid being placed on a wait list, we recommend submitting your application in time for first consideration.

Dec. 18th, 2020 - Decision letters will be mailed to students with applications submitted before Christmas break. A parent packet will also be mailed at this time with further instructions for registration.

Families are still able to submit applications after Christmas, but applications will be considered on a rolling basis and may be placed on a wait list due to limited space in the cohort.

Jan 21st, 2020 - Registration Night.

If a student is accepted to SPC, parents/guardians will bring all paperwork needed to register the student. A checklist of items needed will be provided in the Parent Acceptance Packet.

The purpose of this night is to minimize the amount of back and forth for parents and administration, ensure all necessary paperwork is completed for a prompt and smooth transition to high school, and to help answer any and all questions parents have regarding the registration process.

*If your student is accepted after this date, an individual registration meeting can be arranged with our Registrar, Terry Kerr. Please email to set up an appointment at
