Incoming Freshman and Transfer Students 

Currently, we are accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year Class of 2027. Due to a high number of applicants for the 2022-2023 school year, we highly suggest that families apply early to be eligible for First Consideration Decisions made in mid-December.

Admission Process

The St. Petersburg Catholic High School application process begins online and will serve as your registration for the HSPT (entrance exam). The exam will take place on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at St. Petersburg Catholic High School.

Step 1

Create an online account with St. Petersburg Catholic High School here.

Step 2

After your account is created you will receive an email containing a verification link. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account. Please check your spam or junk folder if the email does not immediately show up in your inbox. 

Create and complete a new student application for your student. If you need additional time to complete your application, you may log in and out of your account.

Please note for your application to be considered for admissions you will need to do the following:

  • Complete online application for each prospective student
  • Submit a non-refundable fee of $75 for each prospective student
  • Submit a records release form for each prospective student
  • Provide 8th grade Math Teacher's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Provide 8th grade English Teacher's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Provide 8th grade Science Teacher's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Provide Principal's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Entrance Exam (taken on November 5th, 2022, or later make-up dates)
  • Submit accommodations paperwork if applicable  (SSP, IEP, or 504 plan)

You can track your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. In addition, you will be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms and, if necessary, reprint the forms.

Step 3

Attend Baron for a Day on September 30, 2022. In order to secure a spot for Baron for a Day, please complete the registration and parental consent form by Friday, September 16th, 2022. Register here to secure your student’s spot.

Admissions Policy

St. Petersburg Catholic High School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. St. Petersburg Catholic High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

If you are currently in high school and consider transferring to St. Petersburg Catholic High School, you can submit your application now. As space permits, the applications of transfers are considered at the discretion of the Admissions Committee, this includes mid-year transfers. In general, senior transfers are not accepted. However, individual decisions are made at the discretion of the Admissions Committee. Review the steps below to access the transfer application.

 

Please note that the deadline for the Spring 2023 semester is Oct 31, 2022, with all supplemental documentation due by Nov 15, 2022. We will accept applications if space is available.

  • Submit transfer affidavit form for each prospective student to the current school
  • Submit a records release form for each prospective student
  • Provide the current Math Teacher's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Provide the current English Teacher's name and email address for each prospective student
  • Provide the name and email address for a teacher of your choice for each prospective student (School Counselor or Administrator are acceptable, too.
  • Submit accommodations paperwork if applicable  (SSP, IEP, or 504 plan)

Step 3

Schedule an interview with Mr. Bubolz, Principal (transfer students). The Executive Assistant to the Principal will contact students to schedule an interview.
