Craig Mousseau

As a child, Mr. Mousseau knew that he wanted to be a teacher because he admired the Dominican Sisters who taught him in elementary school. He then went on to Mount Assumption Institute, a Catholic High School, where he earned his High School and Regents Diplomas. He has always loved the challenge of mathematics. Mr. Mousseau earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, his Master’s Degree from the University of South Florida, and his extended graduate credits from USF, as well. He has been in education for 47 years, 27 of which were as a principal in struggling schools where he was able to turn them around and make them successful Catholic institutions of learning. He loves seeing the light bulb go on when students finally get a concept. They smile and are proud of their accomplishments, which in turn, makes him happy. In his free time, Mr. Mousseau loves to travel. He travels to Jamaica frequently where he has taken up the challenge of cliff diving, or in his case, cliff jumping. He played soccer and volleyball and now watches football (soccer).
