Growing up in Ohio, Dr. Elder wanted to be a ballerina. Instead of becoming a ballerina, Dr. Elder went to the Medical College of Ohio to earn her Doctorate. She is passionate about sharing her love for medicine and Jesus with her students. Dr. Elder is very proud of her interactions with patients and students where she is able to see them as a child of God and help them through an illness or problem. Outside of work, she helps run two Rosary groups. In her free time, Dr. Elder likes gardening and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Auburn Tigers, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
