Jaydene O'Donoghue

 
 
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ms. O’Donoghue grew up in a unique environment.  She has a passion for art and wildlife. When she was young, she wanted to be a wildlife conservationist.  She continues to enjoy exploring nature through her art, is a member of the National Art Educators Association and the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts.  She has enjoyed a rich academic experience at the IU (Indiana University) Herron School of Art & Design, training at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and SAIC (School of the Art Institute of Chicago). Ms. O’Donoghue was nominated for Indiana Art Educator of the Year twice and received the prestigious Eli Lilly Grant for teacher creativity.  She teaches courses at the Morean Arts Center in downtown St. Petersburg.  Her favorite memory from her career so far is teaching Art at an international school in Mauritius, teaching AP Art History and traveling with students to Italy, France and Spain.
